How a Masterfit Install Works
Four procedural steps from first click to first drive — no surprises, no off-the-shelf tuning, no grey-area pricing. Every install is documented, measured, and signed off against the Masterfit standard.

Search the Masterfit directory by state or specialty (Hi-Fi, 4WD, Marine, Classic). Your chosen workshop reviews your vehicle, your goals, and your existing gear — typically within 48 hours.

Fixed-price quote covering labour, ancillaries, and tuning time. Book a drop-off window that suits you — most workshops offer loaner vehicles or after-hours key drop.

Install & measure
Masterfit fitters install to spec, then take in-cabin measurements with a reference microphone. Every threshold, EQ band, and time-alignment offset is set against your specific cabin — not a generic preset.

What Every Masterfit Install Comes With
Three pillars protect every install booked through the Masterfit Network — from the first soldering iron to the tenth year of ownership.
Masterfit certification standard
Every installer completes a 12-month accreditation covering vehicle electrical, acoustic measurement, DSP tuning, and brand-specific training across Alpine, Focal, JL Audio, Audison, Hertz and more. Tier 3 workshops carry the highest Masterfit rating — only 38 of the 184 currently hold it.

Masterfit tuning files are validated in Australia's only purpose-built anechoic chamber operated by a specialist car audio retailer. Subwoofer and speaker recommendations are measured against your specific vehicle geometry — not a generic crossover chart.
