SECTION 02 / GUIDE LIBRARY
Six resource categories. Pick the one that matches your project.
Every guide below is written or reviewed by a Masterfit Certified Installer and checked against current stock. We treat this library as part of the install, not a marketing afterthought — if a diagram helps you wire it right the first time, the install is faster and cheaper for both of us.
01
INSTALL GUIDES
Head unit & system install walkthroughs
Step-by-step teardown to first-play procedures for the most common head unit, speaker, amplifier and subwoofer upgrades. Each guide lists tools, torque figures, dash trim part numbers and the wiring loom you need before you start.

WIRING DIAGRAMS
Amplifier, sub & DSP wiring diagrams
Downloadable, vehicle-class diagrams covering single-amp, multi-amp, and active DSP networks. Fuses, cable gauges, run lengths and signal/power separation notes are all called out. Print and tape them to the boot carpet.

HEAD UNIT FITMENT
Vehicle fitment & dash kit database
Look up your vehicle make, model and year to see which double-DIN and single-DIN head units physically fit, which wiring harness is required, and whether your factory steering wheel controls, reverse camera and amplified BOSE system retain functionality.

SPEAKER SIZING
Speaker & sub sizing by vehicle
A worked example for every common vehicle platform — door speaker cut-outs, depth behind the door card, mounting depth, and the recommended driver size given available airspace. Built from direct measurement, not catalogue guesses.

TROUBLESHOOTING
No sound, hiss, alternator whine — fixes
The twelve faults our support desk logs every week, organised by symptom. Ground loop isolation, turn-on pop, clipping lights, Bluetooth drop-outs and head unit boot loops all have a written diagnostic path before you call us.
